Import Demo

After downloading Elessi from Theme Forest to your device, please make sure that you have unzipped the theme package before uploading it to your store. If you do not extract it, you will get the issue “zip does not contain a valid theme: missing template “layout/theme.liquid“.

When you install Elessi successfully, let follow these stages to import a Demo theme.

Note: Just support importing config sections the same on demo, NOT support importing images, products, or data the same on demo.

Step 1: Open data config file

First, on the file downloaded from https://themeforest.net/, it has a file called 'DEMO DATA JSON'.

Second, you need to go DEMO DATA JSON > Choose the Home layout you want > Open file > Copy all data

Note: You can use the Sublime Text to open the file.

Step 2: Copy to your theme

From the Elessi theme, you can go to Customize > Theme actions > Edit code

Then please open the "setting_data.json" file > Paste all the data which was copied from "DEMO DATA JSON" to here > Click to 'SAVE'
