Advanced Product Types
Advanced Product Types will help you link other products that relate to your main product. We create Advanced Product Types option to help your customers have more choices to buy. Therefore, Shopify owners can increase their conversion rate.

1. Configure Metafield in Shopify Dashboard
In Shopify backend, go to Settings > Metafields > Products option to create a Metafield definition.
Choose Products option and then click the Add definition button to add Metafield definition.
1.1. Add Metafield - Advanced Product Title
You need to configure some options below:
Name: You can add the name that you wanna show for the Metafield Advanced Product Title here. Example: I added the field Name is Advanced Product Types.
Namespace and key: You have to add theme.advance_label key here. This is a required option, if you do not add theme.advance_label key here, the Metafield Advanced Product Title cannot work.
Description: You can add the Description for the Metafield Advanced Product Title here. In addition, this is not a required option, so you can choose to add a Description or not.
Select Content Type: Please choose the content type: Text > Single line text. This is a required option, if you do not choose the content type: Text here, the Metafield Advanced Product Title cannot work correctly.

Then click the Save button to save all changes, we will get the metafield definition as image below:
If you don't wanna use different label/ title for the Advanced Product Types option, you don't need to configure the Advanced Product Types label
1.2. Add Metafield - Advanced Product Types products
You need to configure some options below:
Name: You can add the name that you wanna show for the Metafield Advanced Product Types here. Example: I added the field Name is Advanced Products.
Namespace and key: You have to add theme.advance_pr_type key here. This is a required option, if you do not add theme.advance_pr_type key here, the Metafield Advanced Product Types cannot work.
Description: You can add the Description for the Metafield Advanced Product Types here. In addition, this is not a required option, so you can choose to add a Description or not.
Select Content Type: Please choose the content type is Reference > Product (list of products). This is a required option, if you do not choose the content type is Product here, the Metafield Advanced Product Title cannot work correctly.

Then click the Save button to save all changes, we will get the metafield definition as image below:
2. Configure Metafield in Products
In Shopify backend, go to Products > All Products option and open the product that you wanna add the Advanced Product Types. Example: Open the Magnhild Organic Cotton product:
In the product, please scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see the Advanced Product Types metafield option. Kindly follow the video below:
3. Configure Metafield Advanced Product Types in Theme Customize
In Shopify backend, click the Customize button to go to Theme backend:
Go to Product page > Choose the product that you wanna configure the Advanced Product Types here:
In Product main, click on Product Form option, on the right side, scroll to bottom of the Setting sidebar, you will see the option to choose Metafield Advanced Product Types here:
With Advanced Product Types label, you can enter the label directly on the label option. And this label/ title will show on all Advanced Product Types option.
Click connect dynamic source button to choose the metafield Advanced Product title that you configure on point 1. When you use metafield, the Advanced Product Title will be different for each product.
With Advanced Product Types product, you can click the Select products button to choose list of products you wanna use. But if you choose the list products, those products will show on all products.
