Fix Custom CSS Not Applying The Code

October 29, 2022 Shopify is updating the custom_css file, this file has the same name as our theme's file and has an error. We quickly contacted Shopify and changed the name of the code file to fix this issue.

With this article you will be able to upload and change the file name of the code in a simple way.

Step 1:

You click Customize -> Edit code.

Step 2:

- With Kalles version 4.x.x:

You need change the name in 2 files code liquid: setting_schema.json and render_bottom.liquid.

You will search 2 files in Edit code and then Ctrl+F to find "custom_css" and then change to "t4s_custom_css"

Follow this guideline to config it:

- With Kalles version 3.x.x and earlier:

You need change the name in 2 files code liquid: setting_schema.json and head_assets.liquid

You need to go Theme Settings > Custom CSS > enable Use custom css checkbox again
